This little section of 52nd street is growing considering 3 new restaurants have touched down in the last year. (Tasties, Vegan-ish, and some other one I forgot the name of). And now we have the Angry Waffle which I was really looking forward to. The menu was pretty simple with options of waffles (of course) and all the usual toppings to choose from along with, chicken fingers, wing digs, and an assortment of omelettes. I wound up getting the wing digs and waffles along with a tomato and spinach omelette. I really enjoyed my omelette. Everything tasted as good as it looked. The wing dings were surprisingly super crispy and cooked perfectly. The only thing missing was the WAFFLE. I wish I could review it, but the waffle never came even after reminding staff about it. They asked if I wanted it to go, but waffles to-go aren't a thing for a reason.
The Angry Waffle is amazing! My girlfriend and I got brunch on Saturday morning and it was so delicious. Her chicken and waffles was out of this world and my omelette and home fries were delish. Service was great and fast considering how busy they were and we overall had an awesome time. Cash only but they have an ATM!
